Eihän tää nyt mikään maailmaa mullistava oo, mut en kyl vieläkää tajuu, miten sain ton näköst jälkee tehtyy :D Mut tää vei kyl aikaaki, muistaakseni joku 13h. Something old, something new, something blue

 

Hellou! Tänään tää lupailemani uus headeri ja muutenki muokkasin vähän ulkoasua. Tein aluks vähä radikaalimman muutoksen, mut en sit tykänny, joten pitäydyin melko samassa. Teemana on siis avaruus, niin ikään sininen ja sitä rataa. Varmaan huomasittekin :D Sanokaas muute miltä toi taustaväri näyttää, onko hyvä sininen? Mun läppäril nää värit on ain vähä mitä sattuu, ni paha sanoo :P Olisko musta/se vanha harmaa sittenki parempi? Tosin mustas ei sit näkyis noi reunukset. Nää postaukset siirty muute enemmä oikeelle noista sivuhärpäkkeist, mikä ärsytti mua kovasti, mut jouduin antaa periks ku muute toi headeri ei olis ollu ollenkaa keskellä. No, ehkä mä elän tän kaa :D (I bet u guys didn't even noticed xD)

Hellou, I put the new header I promised last time and did couple of changes, too. I was supposed to change the whole layout but in the end I didn't like it and changed it back. The new theme is space and blue, you just might have noticed ;D And to celebrate the new look I'll give you two new Daily Penguins, enjoy!

btw, what do u think about the background colour? Is that a good tone of blue, or should it be black or that old grey? Hmm...

This is a new one, but idea was old. I planned on doing this for the Afghanistan theme party we had some time ago but never got any time to do this :D Yeah, I got little carried away with the colouring, I personally kinda like these more simple but at the same time want to make them lively or so...:D I couldn't get the mean penguin to look as himself! (not that I even tried very much ;D) but I just LOVE the camel xDD he looks so funny!

Wazzup!

Long time no see, sillä mulla on ollu rutkasti hommaa penkkareiden ja muiden koulujuttujen kanssa. Pingviinisarjisten teko on ollut aikalailla jäissä, sillä inspiraationa toimivat kaverini eivät enää oikein koulussa pyöri :P Muttamutta, muutaman vanhan idean olen saanut paperille ja kyllä jotain pystyy aina keksimään :D Mun mielestä niistä ei kyl tuu yhtä hauskoja, mutta ehkä se on enemmänki sellane fiiliskysymys ;D Niitä siis luvassa pian!

Ja muutakin uutta on tulossa, sillä teemanvaihdos on edessä piakkoin. Väsäilin tossa uuden headerinki aikani kuluksi (mikä psykan ylppäreihi luku? O_o) ja ihan tykkäilen. Nykyinen teemahan on jotakuinkin tiivistettävissä "pink, smoke and...some shit." :DD

Yup, mutta palaillaan näiden kanssa sitten myöhemmin viikolla!

It's been a long time, but I've been kinda busy with school stuff and so. My penguin comic inspiration is quite low right now, while my friends don't hang around at school so much anymore, so I don't really get any funny ideas. But, I've still managed to finish couple of new ones (maybe not so good ones, though...) and I'll put them here as soon as I have time. I've also made a new header, so I'll be back with them later this week! ;D

so called FAQ to be

Guest #1: Is it always the same penguin, who's being mean?
Kay: Yea, it is. But I'm aware of that he never looks like the same. Blame my poor drawing skills.
Guest #1: Okay... but is the nice penguin always the same, too?
Kay: Nope. Or at least I didn't mean them to be, but who knows.
Guest #1: Oh, ok. But...but...
Kay: Yeahhh?
Guest #1: Well...uhm...what the hell is wrong with that penguin!! I mean, he's horrible!!
Kay: I sure know. And I have no idea, maybe some traumas? But I'm sure there's some very reasonable and logical explanation for it.
Guest #1: Really?
Kay: Hell no.


Guest #2: How do you make these comics? Looks so simple...
Kay: Well dah, you think I'd do this if it was hard? And it usually takes just some boring lesson, a note book, a pencil and some black marker. After scannig I clear it a little bit, adjust colour balances and maybe add some textures with PSP9.
Guest #2: How long does this all take? I mean, it can't take that long.
Kay: I would say that about an hour or more. It's not that fast and my weird perfectionism isn't really helping there either.
Guest #2: Lol, so it only takes an hour? So why don't you do these more?
Kay: Coz I'm lazy.
Guest #2: Hey, even I could do it!
Kay: We'll, go ahead then. 
Guest #2: I didn't say I was going to! And I could do so much better!
Kay: Oh God, go and do better and stop bothering me you annoying little brat!
Guest #2: Well, well..You suck!
Kay:No, I d- well actually...it depends on what I'm sucking ;)
Guest #2: O_O wha--NO!!nonono!! That doesn't mean that!

Kay: I what now? Definitely not! I've hated copycats since I was like 6yo. And the ideas just come up in very ordinary situations, like one when I imagined what would I do with the younger students sitting in our places. More guestions? The others weren't so willing to ask anymore, dunno why.
Guest #4: Well, hmm. I just...think..that...well...
Kay: We don't have the whole day here, u know.
Guest #4: *mumbles* that you don't seem very nice person...
Kay: Hohoho! I really am not, so you got even something right.
Guest #4: You're really not in your right mind, are you?
Kay: We think that no.

Tykkäsin joskus piirellä koikarppeja, ihan vaan nähdäkseni osaisinko. Kyl mä ihan olin tyytyväinen lopputuloksiin. Hienoimman tein yhteen syntymäpäiväkorttiin, mutt siitä ei oo kuvaa. Mä en periaattees ota kuvia ihmisille tekemistäni korteista, koska ne on jotenki tarkotettu henkilökohtasiks. Ainoo poikkeus nyt oli se lohikäärme yo-kortti, koska se oli sen verran kiva eikä sen teko ollu mitenkään tunnepitosta, kert en mun pikkuserkkua oikeestaan tunne.

 

Tää nyt ei kovin kummonen oo, mut piti jotain kaivaa xD Serkku pyys suunnittelemaan tatuointia. Toi merkki on kiinalainen symboli onnelle, fu. Loppuen lopuks siihen tatuointiin tuli kuitenkin vaan toi merkki, olisi kuulemma tullut liian pieniks noi kalat.

Tää on osa isompaa työtä, johon kuuluu viel sellane tyyppi, joka jotenki loitsii ton palluran. Mut en tykkää siit tyypist, kun sen pää meni vähä vinksalleen, joten saatte nyt elää ilman sitä :D Mä oon ylpee noist härpäkkeist, en kattonut ees mallia, eiks näytäki iha...ööö..asiaankuuluvilt? :D

I wanted to try whether I could draw koi carps, and I must say I'm pretty satisfied. The first is just little something I draw for my cousin, who wanted me to plan a tattoo for him. The chinese symbol there literally means something like happines. In the end, he only tattooed that symbol coz the fish would've gotten too small and messy. The second picture is just a detail from bigger picture. There was also a guy conjuring that fish ball, but I didn't like the guy, so you just have to live with this :D

Ihastuin niin kovasti ton 100 hits-kuvan väreihin, ett päätin väsätä uuden headerin. Ah oikeesti, noi värit<3 Mul menee aina tuhottomasti aikaa siihen, ett mietin fontteja ja efektejä tällasiin verrattain aika nopeisiinki väsäyksiin. Tää pätee kyl melkee kaikkeen, esmes jos kirjotan äikän ainetta koneella, mulla luultavasti menee enemmä kirjasimen valitsemisee ku ite kirjoittamiseen :D Esteetikko mikä esteetikko...

I just adore the colours of that "100 hits", so I made a new header. It took a lot of time, because I always wanna try every effect and every font and then having the hardest time deciding the best one. Well, I'm always like that. For example when writing an essay with computer, it just might take me more time to think the coolest font than actually write the stuff :D Can't be help, I'm just too much of an aesthete.

Lupasin laittaa näitä mun "laadukkaampia" tietokoneel rustattuja kuvia. Nääkin tosiaan on about kolmen vuoden takaisia, en oo juuri sen jälkeen koneella piirrelly. (Iik, huomasin muute ett kävijöit on 99, koht pitää tehä 100 hits-plakaatti :DD Hey, se joka on 100. ilmoita toki!)

I promised to put here the best pieces of my digital art. These too are like 3 yo. coz I don't really use the computer for drawing anymore. Hey, I just noticed I have now 99 visitors! Gotta do the "100 hits" soon :D If you there happened to be the 100th visitor, please tell me! :D

  

 

Tää ei oo niin kummonen, mutt tykkään hirmusti tosta kaulan värityksestä. En tiiä miten tein sen :D

Tää on tosi kummallinen. Ei näytä yhtään mun tekemältä, täysin erityylinen. Ihan ihme, en ees ite varmaa tunnistais heti tekemäkseni. Oon joka kerta yllättyny ku nään tän xD Joo, anatomia on perseestä, mutta toi oliki ekoja ihmisiä mitä piirtelin, joten annettakoon anteeks ;D Ja mitä vittui noi vihreet pallerot tuol oikee on O_o?

This is so weird! It's not my style at all! Even I have troubles regognizing this as mine. And I know, anatomy sucks hard time, but this was like my first human I ever drew, so let's forgive me ;D And what's with those green...balls there O_o?

 

Tää on varmaa ainoo työ, josta oon aina täysin pitänyt. Väritys on pääosin oikein hienoa, ja ideakin on kiva :) Ylpeys<3 

I absolutely love this piece. Colouring is just fab and the idea is pretty good, too. I'm kinda proud of this! :D 

Hmm, tästä en oikein koskaan oo pitäny. Idea on kiva, mut toteutus aika karmee. Olisin pistäny edelliseen postaukseen, mutt en muistanu. Laitoin tän siks, ett monet muut on kyl pitänyt. Hyi tota harjaksen väriä, ei kyl sovi ollenkaa ja ei ees mennä toho ylävartalon ja käden väritykseen :S

Yeah, I don't actually even like this one. But many others did, so that's why I put this here. I actually could've put this last time, but I forgot. Yuck, I just hate the colouring >_<

Tässä muutama tietokoneella tehty kuva. Nää on about 4 vuotta vanhoja, tehty ShiPainter Prolla, joka on netissä oleva piirtoalusta. Must jotenki tuntuu, ett enää en osais tehä mitään tän tasosta. En tajuu miten jollai hiirel oon jaksanu vääntää näit :S Oon ollu ahkera! Lopetin koneella piirtämisen, ku alotin pari isoa mahtityötä tol ShiPainteril ja tein viikkokausia ja sit se perkele meni ja poisti ne! >_< sit en enää jaksanu/uskaltanu alottaa uudestaan mitään, joten siihen jäi. No, saatan mä paintil satunnaisesti vääntää jonku pöllön tai pingviinin mut eipä juuri muuta :D

Here's few digital art I've made about three years ago. Nowadays I don't do digital art much, and I wonder whether I could create anything near to these anymore... These are made with oekaki ShiPainter Pro. I'm pretty amazed I ever have had energy to struggle with these just with mouse! 

Jossain vaihees piirtelin iha sikan tällasii kädettömiä lohikäärmeitä, taisin luoda niist jonku lajinki. Hoho. Tää kyseinen yksilö ei ihan kuulunu siihen kastiin, vaan väsäsin tän joskus syntymäpäiväni kunniaks. Avaruusmatonen, kuten nimikin jo kertoo. Eipä siihen mitään lisättävää. Mul oli myös joku juttu blurriin, apparently :D Ei mikään häppöne, mut tykkään jollain tasol.

At some point I used to draw these armless dragons, I even created some sort of species, heh. But this one isn't quite like them, just little something I made for my birthday back then. I apparently was also a big fan of blur tool :D Not my greatest piece, but I still kinda like it.

 

Olin tosiaan melkonen lohikäärmefani aikoinani, ja kyllä mä vieläkin tykkään niitä piirrellä. Varmaan siks, ett niil ei oo mitään määrättyä anatomiaa, joten kukaan ei pääse motkottamaan mistään xD Tää kuva kuuluu sillosiin ylpeyden aiheisiin, oli sellane isompi projekti. Nykyään tosin tää näyttää hyvin kököltä, mutta väreistä ja ideasta tykkään edelleen. Tää on osa muutaman kuvan lohikäärmesarjaa ja Eragon on nimenä siks, kun joku mainitsi tän muistuttavan sitä. Mä en tosin kyseistä kirjaa oo lukenu/elokuvaa nähny, ett luotan vaan tän tyypin arvioon :D

I was quite a dragon fan and well, I still like drawing them. Mostly because they don't really have a certain anatomy, so nobody can really complain about anything xD Heh, I was so proud of this back then. This was some sort of a bigger project and part of the dragon pictorial. Nowadays I found this kinda artless, but I still like the colours and the idea. This is named after Eragon coz someone mentioned the resemblace between these. I personally haven't read the book/seen the movie so I just rely on this person's opion :D

Haha, noi kasvit on aivan järkyttäviä! xDD En tosin vieläkään oo kovin lahjakas flooran piirtämises. Tästä ajattelen melkolailla samaa mitä edellisestä: kömpelö, mut värit ja idea on kiva. Ja toi vartalon panssari on must edelleen aika hieno, tykkään kans tost kuonon liukuvärjäyksest ja naama on ihan onnistunut. Tää sai kyl paljon yleisön suosiota ja oli tosiaan ton lohikäärmekuvasarjan eka. 

omg, those plants are absolutely, fully, truly horrible! xDD Well, I haven't really improved what comes to drawing flora. I think pretty much the same of this than the previous: clumsy but nice colours and idea. I still like the body armor, it's kinda cool and also the face is pretty okay. Many viewers liked this one a lot and this was the first of that dragon pictorial.

Kolmas ja vika kuvasarjan tekele. Tähän taisin ajallisesti ja vaivallisesti (voiks noin sanoo? O_o) panostaa eniten. Tulta en selvästikään osannu tehä, noi näyttää joltai tulimadoilt xD Tyksin kuitenkin ison lohkareen silmästä, se on fantsu<3 Ja höhö, noi kivet näyttää joltai sienilt xD

Third and the last piece of that dragon pictorial. This took the most time and effort. I cleary couldn't paint the fire back then, it looks like a bunch of fire worms or smthg xD But I like the eye of the bigger dragon, it's fab<3 Hoho, those rocks look like some weird mushrooms xD

 

Tää ei jotenkaan oo ihan mun näkönen, mut ihan kiva silti. Lohikäärmeen värit sopii hyvin tohon luolaan, mut toi tausta on hirvee :D Tää oli varsin nopee työ (tai no mulla nyt menee aina ikuisuus simppeleissäkin töis, mut mun mittapuulla nopee) ja todella simppeli. Jostain syystä oon aina tykännyt täst, en silleen, ett olis jotenki erityisen hieno, mut jotenki vaan. Onpas toi häntä paksu tuolt lopust :S

This is not exactly my typical style, but quite nice anyway. Like the colours of the dragon and the cave, but the background is absolutely terrible :D This was fast and simple piece, not very glorious, but I've always kinda liked this, dunno why. Gosh, that tail is waaayy too wide from the end :S

Nää yksilöt ei oo siitä hienoimmasta päästä, mut about jotai keskitasoo. Mulla on kyllä läjä niitä ihan alkuaikojen hirvityksiä, joille ei voi ku nauraa ja hävetä itteensä :D Ja sit on niitä, joista oon edelleen ylpee. Saatte ihailla vielä molempien ryhmien edustajia, mutt pistän niit vähän erissä tänne, ettei koko sivu olis vaan yhtä postausta. Ja ett mulla tosiaan riittäis jotain postattavaa viel jokski aikaa, kert en kauheen paljo täyttele varastoja enää :D

Well, these aren't the greatest ones but something in the middle. I do have stuff from the very beginning. And I can tell you, they're absolutely ridiculous and horrible xD Then I also have the ones I'm still very proud of. You'll see both of the kind in the future, but I kinda try to save something for other post too, while I'm not really doing any new art anymore.

Paska väritys, mut innostuin leikkii Jascan patterneil ja en sit jaksanu täl hiirettömäl läppäril värittelee tarkemmin. Ja joo, on tää mustaki semisti häiritsevä kuva. Ja toistaseks ainoo tekeleeni, jossa on joku sanoma. Mut sekin tosin sellanen "mun juttu", että muut voi vaan arvuutella ;DD tosi kiva, eiks? Ja ei, se ei oo "tupakointi tappaa peuroja" xD. Peuraan ainaski katoin mallia jostain raadost, jonka löysin googlettamal. En ottanu ylös osoitetta ja muutenkin, se ei ollu kovin nätti kuva.

Köh, oon ollu nyt kipeenä, joten mulla on ollut aikaa penkoa koneeni syövereistä näitä vähän vanhempia töitä.

Arvatkaa kuka joutuu aina tekee sukulaisille synttäri- yms. juhlakortit? Jeps, jeps minähän se. Ilmotin kyllä, että jatkossa saavat luvan maksaa mulle, sillä en mä nyt niin paljon nauti näiden tekemisestä. Tämä yksilö on pikkuserkulle tehty ylioppilaskortti parin vuoden takaa.

I've been sick lately, so I have had some time to find some old stuff, too. This first one is made for my second cousin for his graduation. Yeah, I'm always the one who has to make the party cards for everyone, but next time I'll ask them to pay me. I'm not that into drawing...

Tän maalasin ysillä meidän kovasti pidetylle matikanopelle, joka jäi äitiyslomalle. Meidän luokka osti vielä jättikokoisen pehmonallenkin, ja tää tuli ikäänkuin kortiksi siihen :D En muista mistä katoin tohon lintuun mallia, mutta taisi olla jostain pakkauksesta, missä näky monia pikkukuvia.

When our old math teacher left for her maternity leave, our class decided to get her a big bear toy and I made this card for it.

Tää on väsätty joskus koulussa hypäreiden aikana. Mulla ei oikeesti oo ollut kun kerran vaa inspiraatio johonki työhön. Se ei ollu lopulta kovin häppöne tekele, mut sen tekeminen oli aivan mahtavaa. Tässä työssä koitin, josko sitä inspiraatiota vois pakottaa jotenkin. No, kyllä sieltä jotain fiilistä sai irti, mutta ei lähellekkään samassa mittakaavassa. Taisin olla aika vihanen jostain tätä tehdessä ja koitin purkaa sitä tähän, mutt en kyl oo koskaan oikein hiffanut sitä tunteiden purkamista piirtämiseen :P

This one I made at the school. I tried to force some sort of inspiration for this, and well, I got something, but still nothing special. I have had inspiration only once in my lifetime, and woah, what a feeling that was. The piece I made back then wasn't anything special, but even now I still like it. I was quite angry when I was drawing this and tried to put that emotion in this. Not so sure whether I managed to that or not. Yeah, I've never quite get that "unloading feelings to drawings"-thing.
